The Small Print
These are the only terms under which we ship fish. If you order from us, you have accepted these terms. Only order if you are prepared to be bound by them.
GENERAL Color My Fish is a family run tropical fish breeding business. We only sell fish we have bred in our tanks in Arkansas. We breed a variety of species, mainly Bronze Catfish, Endler guppies, various Tetras, Black Marble Angelfish and a variety of Plecostomus. We sell fish locally through local aquarist groups and nationally through our website and on Ebay. We occasionally buy fish to improve our breeding stock. These fish are not available for resale.
SHIPPING If you order through our website or on Ebay, your fish will be shipped by UPS, FedEx or USPS. Since we only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays, to avoid fish being in transit over a weekend, from the time we receive your order it may be up to six days before your fish are shipped. We only ship by USPS to delivery addresses in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and the Northern part of Texas. If you choose USPS for delivery outside of this area, we may cancel your order. For all other areas we recommend UPS 3 day or FedEx 2-3 day services. For orders made through Ebay, Ebay will automatically send you shipment details and a tracking number. For orders made through our website, we will send the tracking number. It is important that you use the tracking number to know when your shipment will arrive.
DELIVERY You must bring your package in within 3 hours of the delivery timestamp. We are not responsible for losses from packages that are left outside in extreme weather. If there is any problem with the fish you receive, take pictures of the fish in the inner bag, before opening. We must receive the pictures within three hours of delivery. In the unlikely event of DOA, we will offer a store credit against future purchases, in the value of the fish lost. We do not refund or credit shipping costs and we will not ship replacement fish unless we receive a payment for the additional shipping cost.
SALES TAX We always collect sales tax for the delivery address given.
